There are plenty of things to do on Gimli's trails. You'll find 11 hiking trails, 9 running trails, 7 cross country skiing trails, and more. The longest trail in Gimli is Gimli Rail Trail. This trail is estimated to be 36.2 km long and takes on average 8 h 32 min to hike.

The Gimli Art Club have been promoting and creating art in our community for over 50 years! Head over to 3 Centre Street to congratulate them on their hard work and to see art from the over 70 artists who display their works at the club.
Don’t miss the WAVE Artist Studios Tour. Two weekends of every summer over 20 artists across the eastern Interlake of Manitoba open their studios and warmly welcome you to explore their world, gain some knowledge, and have a bit of fun!

Gimli has many artists, carvers, photographers and creators of all kinds. We’re proud of all our local makers and have many who sell their wares all summer and into September at the Gimli Farmers’ Market and the Arnes Farmers’ Market (just 10 minutes North of Gimli).
Autumn is also time for the Gimli Fall Craft & Trade Show, with over 50 vendors selling handmade and manufactured products. Get your holiday shopping done early or buy a special gift for yourself at the Gimli Recreation Centre.
